The Arctic Race of Norway is an annual multiple stage bicycle race held in northern Norway. The first edition was in 2013, from 8 August to 11 August, and lasted for four days. The organising partners are Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and Arctic Race of Norway (AS). The race is an official UCI sponsored event, and has been set as part of the Europe Touring championships. From 2015 it was rated as a 2.HC event, and the race has become part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020.
EarthOnDive supported all 3D Terrain animations of each of the stages of the Race of Norway a second year in a row, together with its 3D Rendering and Visualization team based ot of Germany. WavGen Technology was exclusively used to map the vary large textures in place inside of 3D Studio Max. EarthOnDrive supplied all the mosaiced and color balanced geospatial data seamlessly.
We are proud to support our partners for the second time, the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), and the Arctic Race of Norway (AS), as we continue to visualize and map the Earth in 3D dimensional data.
