WavGen announces new and updated plugins for Linux, OSX, and Windows, that further integrate wavelet technologies with Autodesk’s line of 3D modeling, rendering, and runtime applications. We now have exporter plugins for work flows in gaming (Unity, Scene Graph, Unreal, Crytek, for example) and scene integration technologies to easily implement large scale megatextures into any kind of 3D pipeline & workflow. WavGen textures support high dynamic range and alpha channels (8bit all the way through to 32bit per channel), and we support lossless JPEG2000 & ECW technologies. Unlike EXR technologies which bloat and increase file sizes along the pyramidal textures, our technology is by far superior by actually reducing the textures and images by 1/8 the original file, in a completely 100% lossless state. We also support lossy environments for increased runtime performances, and proxied performances in post production and rendering.
