Land Cover and Use Classifiation data is an important input to a variety of applications, ranging from telecommunication planning to ecological and climatological modelling. Land Cover Data can be derived by EarthOnDrive from satellite images worldwide. EarthOnDrive also maintains a stock of previously generated datasets.
EarthOnDrive offers high quality urban geometries that are processed and ready for use. The data provide classes of urban density as well as a variety of utilization categories. The geometries base on very high resolution satellite data and are fully interoperable with digital maps and street layers. The quality of the data is assured by intensive internal quality controls and external quality checks.

The 2021 Dakar Rally was the 42nd edition of the event and the first edition held in Saudi Arabia. The event started in Jeddah on 5 January and finished in Al-Qiddiya 17 January after 12 stages of competition.
